Pre-bridal beauty timeline
what to book, and when

A wedding is busy enough without rushing between appointments. This timeline shows what to book and when in the months before your big day, with every visit at home so you can rest between functions.

3 months before

• Start a regular routine. A clean-up or facial every three to four weeks keeps skin clear and lets you see what suits you.
• Look after your hair. A hair spa every two to three weeks helps dry or chemically treated hair.
• Settle your skincare. Choose a gentle cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen, and stick with them.

1 month before

• Last chance to try anything new, whether that is a new facial, a new hair colour or a new product. After this, keep to what you know works.
• Book your pre-bridal dates. Plan the visits around your functions. Our pre-bridal packages bundle the key services at one price.

2 weeks before

• Final hair colour or touch-up, so the shade looks natural by the wedding.
• A hair spa, for soft, manageable hair on the day.

About a week before

• No new treatments from now on. Skip strong scrubs, peels and anything your skin has not tried before.

2 to 3 days before

• Your final facial, two to three days before the wedding, so your skin is calm and glowing on the day.
• Full body waxing. Two to three days before the first function, so any redness has settled. See our waxing guide for prep and aftercare.
• Threading for brows, upper lip and forehead.
• Manicure and pedicure before your mehndi. Book them before the mehndi is applied, not after, because soaking and scrubbing would fade the design.

The day before and the wedding day

• Gentle cleanser and a light moisturiser only. Nothing new on your skin.
• Sleep early, drink water and keep a small touch-up kit with blotting paper and lip balm.
