Wedding guest beauty prep
look fresh for every function
From mehndi to reception, here is what to book and when, so you look your best at every function without rushing to a parlour.
Indian weddings mean several functions over a few days. Plan backwards from the first one and book home visits, so you are not travelling between appointments in the busiest week.
About a week before the first function
- Hair spa. A hair spa a week ahead leaves hair soft and easier to style.
- Hair colour touch-up, so the shade looks natural in photos.
- Nothing new on your skin from now on: no new products, peels or strong scrubs.
2 to 3 days before
- Facial or clean-up two to three days before the first function, so your skin is calm and glowing. See clean-ups and facials at home.
- Waxing one to three days before, so any redness has settled. Our waxing guide covers prep and aftercare.
- Threading for brows, upper lip and forehead one or two days before.
Before the mehndi
Book your manicure and pedicure before the mehndi is applied, not after. Soaking and scrubbing would fade the design.
Between functions
- Remove makeup fully and cleanse every night, then moisturise.
- If the functions spread over a week, book a quick threading touch-up in between.
- A short head massage helps you unwind after a long day.
Going with family?
Mothers, sisters and cousins can book together. Add everyone's services in the price calculator and send the list in one message, or see our wedding-season packages with live prices. The bride-to-be can follow our pre-bridal beauty timeline.
